Eleonora Rossi
Eleonora Rossi is a costume and set designer active in theatre, opera, and contemporary performance.
She graduated from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan and obtained a Specialization Diploma in Set and Costume Design at the Teatro alla Scala Academy, where she has also been a lecturer in Costume Design Techniques from 2019 to 2024.
Her artistic research combines theatrical costume design with material and visual experimentation, exploring the dynamic relationship between body, space, and dramaturgy.
She collaborates with directors, set designers, and theatres of national and international prominence, maintaining a distinctive focus on the craftsmanship and poetic dimension of the profession.
Among her most recent works as costume designer are Le Anime Morte (dir. Peppino Mazzotta, Teatro di Napoli – Teatro Nazionale), Odissea Cancellata by Emilio Isgrò (dir. Giorgio Sangati, Teatro di Napoli and Parco Archeologico di Pompei), and Schegge di memoria disordinata a inchiostro policromo (dir. Fausto Cabra, Teatro Franco Parenti).
She has also collaborated as assistant costume designer with Petra Reinhardt on major international opera productions such as Götterdämmerung (La Monnaie, Brussels), Combattimenti (MusikTheater an der Wien), and Don Carlo (Latvian National Opera and Teatro di San Carlo)
